Camerawork analysis

 1) Camera shots

Pick three camera shots from the scene and explain what type of shot it is and what meanings or effect they have on the audience.

The director has used a close up to show the main character .

The director has used an establishing shot to show us where the character is doing his work. 

2) Camera angle
Pick one camera angle that is used in the scene and explain the effect it has on the audience. 

The director has used god eyes to make the person small and helpless .

3) Camera movement .

Pick one aspect of camera movement in the clip. Identify the type of camera movement and write about why the director chose to use that camera movement in the scene and what effect it has on the audience.1) Camera shots.

Costume & Make-up

  • In this video the characters are wearing causal clothes. For example, the men were wearing black suits while the children were wearing traditional clothes. The boys were wearing t-shirts and jeans, while the girl was wearing a dress. 

Lighting & Colour 

  • In the video, the lighting is bright as it was daytime. The sky was also light blue. 

Action & Movement

  • In the video, the children are on their bicycles running away from the men in the white van. One of the children uses their superpower to flip over the van. The van then tips over in slow motion. 

Props & Setting

  • The video is set in the suburbs. Props such as bicycles, vans, walkie talkies and backpacks are used.
